Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 July 2026
This policy explains how Intentiv collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR.
1. Who we are
Intentiv is a company registered in England & Wales, with its office at 41 Limeharbour, London E14 9TS. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Intentiv is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at hello@intentiv.ai.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and organisation, when you sign up or contact us.
- Content you provide — such as the business name, website, and details you submit to be audited.
- Usage information — how you interact with the Service, collected through logs and analytics, including approximate location and device or browser information.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and to understand and improve the Service (see section 8).
- Communications — the content of messages you send us and our replies.
3. How we use your information
- to provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- to create the audits and reports you request;
- to authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- to respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- to send service-related messages and, where you have agreed, updates about Intentiv;
- to monitor, analyse, and secure the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you have asked for.
- Legitimate interests — to run, secure, and improve our business, in a way that is not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — for optional cookies and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with the law.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service — for example hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics providers — under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK or the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service working, and — where you allow it — analytics cookies to understand usage and improve the Service. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Service works.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal information, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@intentiv.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with how we handle your information, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Notice to California residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. You can exercise these rights using the contact details above.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
